A multi-talented artist with Icelandic Chinese heritage will soon play in Brisbane as part of her anticipated return to Australia.
Music lovers in Geebung looking for magic won’t want to miss multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and producer Laufey, when she appears in South Brisbane. September will see the Icelandic Chinese star bring her Bewitched: The Goddess Tour to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre for a single-night show.

Grammy Award winner, Laufey’s meteoric rise to fame began in 2022 when she launched her debut studio album called “Everything I Know About Love.” However, last year saw her release her third recording “Bewitched” and claim the Grammy for “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album”.
The upcoming concert in Queensland will see the young star perform alongside a live orchestra playing music that combines modern love songs with classical and 1950s jazz. Those attending will get an opportunity to hear songs sourced from her latest release which include “Goddess”, “From the Start”, “Letter to My 13 Year Old Self” and “Promise”.
Laufey will now be at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre on Wednesday, September 11 September. The centre is situated at the Cultural Precinct on Grey Melbourne Street in South Brisbane.
