A yearly arts festival will soon take place in the city of Brisbane which showcases a wide range of mediums including music, dance and film.
Fans and patrons of the arts alike from Geebung and other suburbs of Brisbane won’t want to miss an upcoming event arriving in September. The annual Brisbane Festival will once more be held at different venues throughout the Queensland capital over three weeks.
Organisers of massive events which run over multiple weeks like festivals often order in Promotional Products featuring logos and other design motifs to advertise and encourage participation from the public.
The annual event evolved from the local Warana Festival, which was founded back in 1961 and described by organisers as “entertainment for the people, by the people” while offering a multitude of activities. While beloved by Brisbanians, Queensland’s capital city aspired for a more sophisticated event which spawned the festival now held since 1996.
The festival offers entertainment for all ages including opera, cabaret, circus performers, cinema screenings, art exhibitions and installations, dance, theatre, comedy and live music from both national and international acts. Food stalls, bars and a signature event entitled Riverfire, which involves an epic firework display on the final day of the event, are all included in the festival calendar.
The Brisbane Festival will take place in and around the city centre from Friday, September 1 to Saturday, September 23.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
