Geebung area to present award-winning artist

A multi-talented star of the stage and screen with numerous awards to her credit will be performing in Queensland this autumn.

Fans of Audra McDonald from Geebung and other suburbs of the coastal capital will be thrilled to hear the singer and star will soon be on stage in South Brisbane. For one evening in May only, McDonald will sing live at the Concert Hall – Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC).

A star of television and film. McDonald is also a worldwide singing sensation. The versatile artist has accrued a diverse range of accolades during her career including an Emmy Award, two Grammy awards and six Tony Awards. To date, she is the only artist to win a Tony Award in each of the four acting categories.

Her television work includes hot programmes like Kidnapped, The Good Wife, The Good Fight, Private Practice, Law and Order, The Bedford Diaries and The Gilded Age.

Audra McDonald will now be live in concert at QPAC on May 15. The venue is sited at the Cultural Precinct which can be found at the Corner of Grey Street and Melbourne Street in South Brisbane. The show will begin at 7.30 pm.
