A special event that combines celebrating International Women’s Day with business networking will soon be held in Brisbane.
Businesswomen from Geebung and other suburbs of the Queensland capital won’t want to miss an upcoming event hosted by Business Chicks. The business networker will be taking place in March at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, and will offer professional people in the area a chance to make connections while honouring International Women’s Day (IWD).
From ambitious entrepreneurs to owners of start-ups, professionals attending networking occasions often purchase a fresh supply of branded Business Cards to take with them to hand out to prospective clients and collaborators.
The aim of Business Chicks is to help make the world better for women everywhere, and it has raised more than $13 million for not-for-profits who share its goal. Its network currently connects over 500,000 women around the world.
The upcoming IWD event will feature food, drink and specially selected speakers.
Past Business Chicks events have featured speakers like US writer Brené Brown, social activist and journalist Gloria Steinem, and British commercial astronaut and business magnate Sir Richard Branson.
The Business Chicks event will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The major venue is situated on Merivale Street in South Brisbane, and the event will start at 7pm and run until 9.30pm.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
