Craft lovers in Western Australia are gearing up for the Craft and Quilt Fair, which is being held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre later this month.
The fair should be a great source of inspiration to all kinds of crafters, with displays, classes and demonstrations, and stalls selling everything from beads and buttons to card and candles.
Among the special exhibitors will be knitter Loani Prior, whose tea cosy designs have been reproduced by printing companies to create a number of beautiful Books.
Several of the workshops offer visitors the chance not only to learn a new skill, but also to take home something they have made themselves, while anyone inspired to start on a new creation should find everything needed for a successful project in the shopping area.
The shopping area includes stalls selling craft kits, scrap booking materials and larger items such as storage Boxes and craft lamps. Visitors can also take advantage of special offers just for the show.
Tickets include entry to the QuiltWest Exhibition, which features quilts made by members of the West Australian Quilters Association. Every visitor stands a chance of winning one of the special door prizes with the top draw being a high quality crafting table.
The fair runs from Wednesday May 23rd to Sunday May 26th and is open from 9:00 am to 4.30pm each day. Parking is limited so people from Bellevue thinking of heading to the show are encouraged to use public transport.
