Men working in construction in Riverstone and surrounds are invited to attend MATES Connector Training. This is an upcoming event scheduled for this month.
The half-day session will be led by MATES in Construction. This charity aims to reduce the high levels of mental illness and suicide among men in the Australian construction industry.
As a globally acknowledged “LivingWorks SafeTALK” course, the workshop will offer practical skills that attendees can use anywhere they go.
Attendees will learn what is involved in becoming a Connector: someone who can act as a go-to for others to share with, who can consistently look out for their colleagues, and who can spot the important Signs that a workmate is struggling and encourage them to get help.
Organisers of similar workshops can use promotional Pens to offer attendees a practical memento of their experience that also maintains a connection and positive association with a brand.
MATES Connector Training will be held on Friday, 25 July at Industrial Harvest Telopea Place, 2 Telopea Place, Eastern Creek, not far from Riverstone. It will start at 8:00AM and conclude at 12:00PM. A light lunch will be provided.
Attendance is free and open to men aged 16 and over. Attendees are asked to wear casual office attire. Registrations for this event are required by 14 July. To register, interested parties can visit the Humanitix website.Get a Free Quote for Pens Get a Free Quote for Signs
