A community club in Riverstone will welcome a star of the stand-up scene in spring for a night of laughs.
Those with a passion for comedy in Riverstone are in luck this springtime. The Riverstone-Schofields Memorial Club has announced that this November, hit comic Tahir will hit the stage for a night of stand-up jokes, spontaneous comic action and, by his own words, terrible attempts at magic.
Clubs booking comic acts sometimes work with experienced flyer printing services to create glossy hand-to-hand adverts they can pass to the public to encourage them to attend shows.
Tahir’s appearance at the Riverstone-Schofields Memorial Club will feature a brand-new show and follows a massively successful national tour. The new format will feature both sketch comedy and stand-up delivery, but also entirely improvised skits where the comic involves the audience.
Fans of Tahir’s act will be happy to hear the latest edition still includes his low standard of magic tricks that earn him huge laughs.
An Australian comedian and actor, Tahir is of Turkish descent and has starred in numerous shows like “From Lebanon with Love” and “Lord of The Kebabs”, among others.
Tahir will now be on stage at the Riverstone-Schofields Memorial Club on Friday, November 15. The club is situated at 23 Market Street in Riverstone, and the show will get started at 8 pm.
