The Fundraising Trivia Night consists of four rounds, interspersed with a two-course banqueting dinner, courtesy of Ping’s kitchen. Individual quizzers are welcome, or there is an option to be part of a team of eight.
Monies raised will go towards the charity Hands Across the Water.
This charitable organisation was founded in 2005 by Peter Baines OAM. Started as a direct result of the Indonesian Boxing Day tsunami in 2004, the charity is about giving affected children a choice, with the mission statement:
“To rescue and nurture, ignite potential and empower futures.”
Supporting the charity enables more children to have a bright future, a secure home and access to inspirational adults, whether in their own home, where at all possible, or in specially created community homes.
Quiz producers often rely on local Stationery printers if they need to provide printed material for the participants.
The Fundraising Trivia Night will be taking place on Saturday, 6 July, from 5.30pm until 10.30pm. The venue is Gladesville RSL, which can be found at 4-6 Linsley Street. The cost is $60 per person, or $450 for a team of eight.
