A well-established event celebrating community and culture is being held just a few minutes away from Gladesville this spring and welcomes all in the area to get involved.
Gladesville residents looking for a fun day out for their family can come down to the Moocooboola Festival this year. Described as nearby Hunters Hill’s premier community event, the single-day celebration boasts a diverse range of activities, refreshments and entertainment.
Organisers of yearly community events often rely heavily on experienced printing services for branded marketing Posters, signage and other key materials to create a cohesive look for their promotional campaigns.
A widely popular event, the festival annually attracts up to 15,000 attendees. The community gathering offers rides, unique entertainment, a market bazaar, skilled roving stilt walkers, food stalls, live performances and a much-loved dog show.
The long-standing festival first launched in 1980 at Hunters Hill Town Hall and its name is taken from Wallumedegal term which means “meeting of the waters” indicating the area where the Lane Cove and Parramatta rivers join in Sydney.
The Moocooboola Festival will now run at Ovals One and Two of Boronia Park Ovals on Sunday, September 27. The festivities will kick off at 10 am and end at 4 pm and the green space is situated in proximity to Gladesville at the corner of Park Road and Ryde Road in Hunters Hill.
