Gladesville to hold community market

A community-led event in Gladesville is presenting a marketplace where residents can purchase garden and greenhouse goods while supporting a local education centre.

A series of morning markets are running in the suburb that will provide a chance to buy a wide range of growing and garden supplies. Dubbed the “Giant Steps Greenhouse Market”, the event is named after the local educational institute it supports.

Based in Gladesville, the Giant Steps Sydney school was set up to help adults and children on the autism spectrum.

Sellers attending local outdoor markets like this sometimes connect with reliable banner printing services for attractive points of sale to dress up their stands and stalls.

Green-fingered Gladesville citizens coming to the market will find a wealth of items to buy. These include flowers, seasonal vegetables, herbs, seedlings, potted plants, succulents, grasses, native trees and more.

Founded in 1995 by a group of parents, the Giant Steps school in Gladesville is recognised today as a leading education hub with a selection of services that answer the needs of students aged between five and18 years.

The Giant Steps Greenhouse Market will now run in the grounds of the former Gladesville Hospital every Saturday until June. The market opens at 9 am and closes at 12 pm, and the venue is on Punt Road in Gladesville.

The event offers free parking and market entry to all.
