Christmas workshop details announced

Gladesville locals can create a new Christmas ornament for their home at an upcoming workshop scheduled for December.

Organised by City of Canada Bay Libraries, this workshop is part of the Open Maker Workshops series.

It will be a facilitated session that supports community learning and guides attendees through hands-on, practical steps to create a project.

This workshop will explore the basics of soldering, and participants will learn crucial tips and tricks in how to use soldering equipment.

There will be different learning resources, guides and tutorials available for attendees to use.

They’ll also have the opportunity to explore the Makerspace tools, connect with others from the community, and kick-start their passion for designing, creating and crafting.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will have their own light-up Christmas tree to take home.

Organisers of creative community events can advertise and boost attendance with brochure printing. Informative and engaging Brochures are the perfect way to publicise an event, share important information, and attract attendees from the local community.

The Open Maker Workshop: Soldering will be held on Saturday, 13 December, 2025. The workshop begins at 2PM and concludes at 4PM. It will be held at The Learning Space, 30 Shoreline Drive, Rhodes NSW 2138. Attendance is free and open to adults over 16 years of age. More details are available through the Humanitix website.
