A day dedicated to artists that includes a prize is running in easy reach of Gladesville this year, and local creatives are encouraged to participate.
Gladesville residents with a love for art and the outdoors can now register for L'Art De La Terre En Plein Air. The spring event invites artists to come and enjoy the natural beauty of the landscapes in the locale and create works inspired by them for a chance to win the Committee Art Prize.
To be eligible to compete, artists must be 18 years old or over and live in places like Gladesville that fall within City of Ryde, Hunters Hill, City of Canada Bay or Lane Cove local government areas.
Artists residing beyond these areas are still welcome to join on the day but are not eligible for the prize.
Those running art events and competitions often call upon experienced brochure printing services that can create Booklets listing entry rules, registration requirements and restrictions.
The Art Advisory Committee of Council will choose the winning piece, which will then be included in the 2026 Hunters Hill Art Exhibition.
The L'Art De La Terre En Plein Air will now run at Morts Reserve and Clarke's Point Reserve on Sunday, November 2. The reserves are sited on Clarke Road in Woolwich. Admission is free to all artists who wish to take part.Get a Free Quote for Booklets
