Gladesville locals will want to mark the diary as a popular festival returns to the area next month.
Back for its fortieth year, the Granny Smith festival will see the return of classic fixtures and the launch of exciting activities.
Festival-goers can enjoy amusement rides and browse over 200 market stalls. They can also take part in competitions, including a singing competition, a colouring-in challenge, and an apple pie-eating contest.
During the festival, attendees can observe a cooking demonstration, with a Country Women’s Association representative cooking up an apple crumble and sharing the recipe.
For kids, there will be a youth zone and a wide range of apple-themed craft activities, along with a pop quiz about Granny Smith.
There will be live performances from 500 artists throughout the event, and attendees can get something to eat from the food trucks available on site.
The festival will conclude with an exciting finale show and a fireworks display.
With printing services, festival organisers can ensure their events are promoted with classy, contemporary and exciting advertising that attracts interest and attendance from the local community.
The Granny Smith Festival will be held on Saturday, 18 October 2025. The venue will be 504 Victoria Road, Ryde, NSW 2112. The festival will begin at 9:00AM and conclude at 8:30PM. More details are available on the City of Ryde website.
