A French-inspired dinner is set to be held in Gladesville this November.
Hosted by Jean-Marie Liere, Dinner with a Frenchman caters for groups of six or less. Jean-Marie is a well-known personality on Instagram and is distinguished for his ability to cook anything from simple omelettes or a recreated recipe from one of his favourite restaurants.
Jean-Marie was inspired to cook by his mother and two grandmothers, who were all exceptional cooks. Over the years, Jean-Marie has been requested to open his own restaurant but he felt this was too big a commitment for him and instead decided to offer dinners at his house for small groups. Guests can expect to dine on dishes such as cassoulet of lamb, poulet aux morilles or bouillabaisse. As well as good food, Jean-Marie also has a wealth of knowledge on wines. He is unconventional in how he pairs wine and food, but the result is usually exceptionally good.
The evening will include some lively conversation which will contain a mixture of his French perspective and the finer points of Australian slang. People who have allergies or special dietary requirements can still be catered for, however it is advisable to check prior to booking.
