This November, Gladesville residents can show support for local artisans by attending the Father’s Day Artisan Open Air Market.
Attendees will have the opportunity to browse stalls displaying handmade arts and crafts. The inspiration for the stock is the nature and botanicals in the surrounding area.
Eden Gardens, the venue for the market, is an award-winning, internationally known location. Therefore, attendees could use the opportunity to visit the gardens and grab a bite to eat at the on-site cafe. They can visit the poplars forest, check out the cooling water features and be mesmerised by the exhibition gardens.
The gardens are more than 1.2 hectares in area and contain plants from 128 families. Due to this immense size, Eden Gardens have been made accessible for wheelchairs, and also contains a skywalk for those wanting an aerial perspective.
Eden Gardens are known for environmentally friendly water usage, and there are several well-lit and licensed areas, making it the perfect location for holding weddings, festivals and Eden Unearthed, the annual art exhibition.
Banner printing is commonly used at markets like this to draw visitors to the event and notify them of its location.
The Artisan Open Air Market will be held on Sunday November 8th from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Eden Gardens are located on 307 Lane Cove Park in Macquarie Park. The market is free to attend.
