Brookvale music fans to hear Australian music icon

An internationally acclaimed Australian artist will be playing a gig in Sydney, featuring a solo performance.

Those in Brookvale seeking to see a legend of the Australian music scene will get their wish later this year. April will see Nick Cave perform a live set at the State Theatre for two consecutive nights.

Theatres, concert halls and other venues hosting live music often depend on dedicated printing services that can produce a full spectrum of promotional materials for the shows they feature.

The upcoming Sydney show is part of Cave’s tour, “Solo”. Over the years, the artist has been associated with many bands and other performers. In the ‘70s, he was frontman for Melbourne’s famous punk outfit, The Birthday Party, which morphed into a dark goth rock band by the early ‘80s.

ln ’82, he formed Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, a blues-inspired rock band with powerful lyrics. Cave also collaborated with other singers on duets, including Kylie Minogue and PJ Harvey.

Fans attending the solo show will get a chance to hear classic tracks from Cave’s extensive back catalogue that may include “The Mercy Seat”, “Red Right Hand”, “Where the Wild Roses Grow” and “Henry Lee”.

Nick Cave will now be performing at the State Theatre on Tuesday, April 30 and Wednesday, May 1. The celebrated theatre is located at 49 Market Street in Sydney, and the concert will start at 8pm on both nights.
