Mayor Michael Regan stated that new theatre director Belinda Gibson had put together a strong programme, adding:
“Glen Street Theatre has a strong legacy of bringing some of the best national touring companies and Australian talent to our community. We are seeing growth in our subscription rates with rapidly increasing attendance of ‘Family’ and ‘Education’ programs, with many shows in 2019 selling out.”
Promotional brochure printing can be used to showcase shows and events at venues such as this. The theatre is set to announce a hugely diverse programme, which will include returning favourites such as ‘The Wharf Revue’ as well as many quality films, dance, dramas and musical theatre.
Books such as ‘Edward the Emu’ and Andy Griffiths’ ‘Just’ series will come to life on the theatre’s stage as part of the Family programme, while other highlights will see legends of musical theatre in Australia like Geraldine Turner perform live.
Gibson said in a first for the Glen Street theatre, it will also host the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow. A number of subscription packages are now available and general bookings open on January 6.
The theatre is ideally located close to public transport and restaurants and also offers plenty of free parking. Show dates, details and ticket prices are available on the Glen Street Theatre website.Get a Free Quote for Books
