Wauwatosa welcomes special Easter fun

The Wauwatosa Village Neighborhood Association (WNVA) has invited its membership to join in a day filled with festive springtime fun for families.

The WVNA has set the date for its Easter Egg Hunt, and it will take place in the afternoon on its scheduled date. Check in will begin 15 minutes ahead of its start time, and the Kneeland-Walker Grounds will be the location for the activity.

Kids who take part will be able to hunt for the hidden eggs, and there will be separate areas for older and younger children. Parents are reminded to make sure their child has a basket or other container to hold their finds, and there will be complimentary snacks and drinks for both the kids and adults. Washroom facilities will be available on site. Tickets are $5 per family in advance or $10 at the gate.

Outdoor community events provide a way to take advantage of the pleasant weather of early spring. Poster and banner printing services for a special occasion can be provided by local printers, and both single-use and reusable options can be ordered.

The WVNA Easter Egg Hunt will be wishing everyone a “hoppy” spring on Saturday, April 12. It is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm, and anyone who is interested in registering may do so through its web listing.
