One of the state's largest juried shows of artistic and creative talent will soon be welcoming Wauwatosa shoppers, and this will be its 49th year.
The Brookfield East High School Holiday Arts and Craft Fair will once again provide lots of gift buying options, and it will be filled with handmade goods. The activity will boast a festive flair, and it will be open to the public for six hours.
The attendees will be able to browse through at least 200 booths, and along with the soaps, woodworking, textiles and other handmade items, gourmet food will be available. The live entertainment will be supplied by the Brookfield East choir, band and orchestra, and admission to the shopping party is $5.00 each. Parking will be free of charge at several locations, and a shuttle service will transport everyone back and forth. Due to space constraints, strollers will not be permitted inside the venue.
