Thanks to support from the city’s business community, a Wauwatosa activity will soon see locals and visitors alike sipping and shopping their way along State Street.
The Village Sip and Stroll date for march has been set, and it will encourage the public to come out and get to know members of their small business community. Support for the series has been provided by Double Boldt Real Estate, and there are four dates planned.
The Stroll will run for three hours in Wauwatosa Village, and everyone interested can wander along, stopping at any establishments that catch their interest. Each one that Signs on for the evening will be serving sips and light bites, and they may have special offers running. The theme will be “ tropical beach”, and it will offer a touch of sunshine and warmth to the end of winter.
To help encourage everyone to get into the spirit of the occasion, some of the participating shops and other establishments will offer special Promotional Products and other perks to those who dress in clothing that fits into the function's theme. The Wauwatosa Village website provides a list of all the venues that have signed on for the activity.
Wauwatosa’s Sip and Stroll schedule will kick off on March 5th. Dates are also set for September 24th, November 19th and December 10th. Each will run from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
