The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train travels the rails spreading holiday cheer wherever it goes, and a stop is scheduled for Wauwatosa.
The train will be making a stop in the city in December, and the charity of choice for the activity is Tosa Cares. This annual event tends to be a real crowd pleaser, and it will be pulling into the venue in the late afternoon.
The festivities will be free of charge, and everyone has been asked to bring generous donations of cash or nonperishables for the food drive that will be part of the experience. Pynk Beard and American Authors will provide live entertainment, and the location for the fun will be the crossing on Harwood Avenue situated near the Little Red Store. The shops and eateries on State Street will be open for business before the train makes its arrival. Santa will make an appearance, and the gathering will run for 45 minutes.
Communities across the USA have special events in store for the holiday season. Many organizers count on local banner printing companies to supply them with decor, signage and other materials.
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be pulling into Wauwatosa for this late afternoon activity on December 10th. The stop will begin at 4:15 pm, and more information, including the location of the donation collection stations, can be found on its web listing.
