Wauwatosa welcomes return of summer soiree series

The Wauwatosa Historical Society is about to play host to an activity series that will celebrate the lazy days of summer.

The Society has set the dates for its second annual Brews and Blooms schedule of evenings, and the Victorian Gardens at Kneeland Walker House will provide a festive venue for these affairs. While there will only be a limited amount of seating, guests may bring a folding chair or blanket and enjoy the fun.

Attendees will be invited to sip on their choice of beers and other beverages, and local food trucks will also be rolling in so everyone can try some new taste treats. Each date will boast its own entertainers and food truck, and a signup system has been put in place for anyone who would like to get involved as a volunteer.

Cities often take advantage of the summer weather by holding out outdoor events. A poster printing company can prepare attention-grabbing materials to post throughout a community that raise public awareness of upcoming celebrations, making them weather resistant if need be.

Brews and Blooms will return to Wauwatosa starting on Friday, June 27, and the final session will be held on Sunday, August 24. Each will run from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Information for attendees and potential volunteers can be found on the Wauwatosa Historical Society’s website.
