Wauwatosa runners may want to sign up now for an event that will combine challenging themselves with a chance to enjoy locally crafted beers.
Big Head Brewing will be taking part in the Wisconsin Brewery Running Series, which will follow a route of approximately 5K. It will both begin and end at the same venue, and the runners can go along at whatever pace they wish.
Each person who registers for this activity can count on having fun with others who enjoy hitting the pavement, and there will be other perks as well. Every participant will get a free craft beer to toast themselves and the other runners, and they will also receive their choice of tasting glasses featuring a special Logo Design.
Along with the beer and glass, the participants will have their name entered in a raffle draw, and there will also be live music, and other entertainment, food trucks will be rolling in, and area vendors will be invited to set up shop. A portion of 10% of proceeds from the activity will be donated to local not-for-profit organizations, and so far, the group has been able to contribute $160,000 to the community.
