The Waukesha County Airport has developed a program that gives local food service entrepreneurs a chance to introduce themselves to the world, and this initiative will be wrapping up for the season this September.
The airport is the location for Food Truck Friday, and two of these mobile eateries will be parked on site for the public from Wauwatosa and other communities to enjoy. They will be set up on the Terminal Building’s east side, which can be found at 2525 Aviation Drive.
The food that's on offer will be available for pick up style dining, and masks and social distancing are highly encouraged. Both Taste and Hidden Kitchen will be the eateries that will be participating, and local no for profit groups have been invited to join in the fun too. The diners are welcome to bring a blanket or folding chairs so they can relax and enjoy their meal, as the pedal planes and tables are closed to the public at this time.
The food trucks that take part in this sort of marketing opportunity often choose to have a vehicle wrap prepared and installed by a local printing services company so they will be in top form for the occasion. Printers can also supply these enterprises with wrappers and other Packaging supplies, staff uniforms and even a spiffy Logo Design.
The final Food Truck Friday for the 2021 season will be rolling into the airport on September 3rd. Everyone is encouraged to come out and support these mobile eateries.
