Wauwatosa set to host fully inclusive fundraiser

Whether they run, walk, or roll, everyone is welcome to be part of an event that will be bringing the fun to Wauwatosa.

Joe’s Run, Walk and Roll, which is billed as being the areas first fully inclusive 1K, 3K, and 5K will be a non-competitive event that will be all about people challenging themselves and having fun doing it. It was first held back in 1996, and throughout the years, it has been able to be a significant source of funding for Broadscope Disability Services.

Those who want to participate in this fundraiser can choose the distance they wish to go, and they can run, walk, or use a mobility device such as a wheelchair. Food will be served to the crowd, and there will also be raffles and event live entertainment. The proceeds will be used to provide services and programming to those living with a physical challenge and their families as well.

This sort of event can be a lot of fun, and a printer can prepare a variety of Promotional Products to thank everyone for their support. T-Shirts, water bottles, lanyards and many other items can be printed with the fundraiser’s Logo Design, and this will raise awareness of a cause each time they are used.

Joe’s Run, Walk and Roll will be hitting the pavement at 7300 Chestnut Street in Wauwatosa on September 19. As the more who come out the bigger the impact this event will have, the organizers are hoping for a big turnout.
