Wauwatosa is waking up after another winter, and that means it is almost time for a pop-up market event.
The Landing at Hoyt Park will be the venue for an activity that will offer retail therapy to those who stop by. It will put the talents of area makers front and center, and it will be held just in time for some Mother's Day shopping.
The items on offer in the sale will include an assortment of crafts and other handmade items, as well as art. As the sellers will be from the area, it will be a snap to show some love to local small businesses. Anyone who would like to sit back and relax can visit the beer tent, and a food truck will also be parked at the venue. Admission will be free, and there will be parking available. Kids are welcome with a playground close by to keep them entertained.
A pop-up market can allow a community to gather and get to know their area's talented makers. Vendors will be able to order a wide assortment Packaging supplies, marketing materials, and booth decor from local Print shops.
