Wauwatosa kids to get into the swim of things

This July, Wauwatosa kids who would like to make a splash will be able to learn how to do so when they participate in a series of swim classes.

The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County has included a short course in its summer calendar, designed for kids from the ages of 6 to 12. It will be for those who already have basic knowledge of the back and front crawl and are able to swim at least 15 feet in each of those strokes.

The kids will be learning how to improve their stroke so they can swim faster and with less effort. They will be working on stroke technique as well as the mechanics of swimming, and along with the front and back crawl, they will gain experience with other competitive strokes. Water safety will be emphasized throughout the classes, and at the end of the series, the goal is for each student to have improved endurance and stroke skills.

Businesses and organizations that offer swimming classes often utilize liability waivers and other business Forms. These can be prepared by area Stationery printers, along with a full line of effective marketing materials.

The Greater Waukesha YMCA will be offering this series of swim improvement classes starting on July 11. They will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays, and the venue can be found at 320 East Broadway Waukesha.
