The crisp days of fall can be well suited to sipping on glass of wine, and those who enjoy sampling different varieties are invited to add their name to the guestlist for a Wauwatosa event.
The Landing at Hoyt Park has scheduled an autumn wine tasting, with an extensive list of vinos to be poured. It will be a casual affair, and only 100 tickets will be sold in advance. It will be held in the afternoon, and has a runtime of three hours.
Attendees will be introduced to seasonal wines from all over the world, and food will be on offer as well. Sparkling, red, and white offerings, as well as rose wines, will be included, and the registrants may place an order to purchase full bottles of any that they find especially pleasing to their palate. They will be presented by the Left Bank Wine Company.
To thank the participants for their support of the tasting, each guest at the function will go home with a glass that boasts a Riedel Logo Design.
This pre-winter event for Wauwatosa wine lovers (or oenophiles, as they are known) will kick off at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 9. Any passes not sold in advance will be available for purchase at the door, and all ticket sales and final.
