Wauwatosa's first responders keep its residents safe every day, and a local gathering will offer them a special tip of the hat for their hard work and dedication.
The city’s annual First Responder Fest is on the way for mid-August, and everyone is encouraged to come out and show them some support. The proceeds from the occasion will be added to a scholarship fund for local students pursuing a career as a first responder.
People who take part in the event will be treated to live music, and food and beverages will be available for purchase on site. Family-friendly activities will be set up, and to further thank the police, firefighters, and emergency responders who attend, they will receive their meal and drink free of charge along with donuts from Cranky Al’s. A presentation will acknowledge the role they play in the community.
When they head for home, each of the first responders will take a T-shirt that boasts a specially prepared graphic. Custom Corporate Gifts for a community event can be prepared by a printing services company.
Wauwatosa will be rolling out the welcome mat for its annual First Responder Fest on Tuesday, August 19. It will start at 5:00 pm. Sponsors that apply before August 1 may qualify to have their logo included on the event’s T-shirt design.
