Wauwatosa competition to bring heat this winter

A Wauwatosa winter often brings lots ice, snow, and cold. This year, a special event will help to bring a touch of heat to a January afternoon, and all ages can enjoy the occasion.

The 14th annual Milwaukee Chili Bowl will be adding some fire to the winter season, and some of the area’s top chefs will be putting their recipe to the test. They will be competing for The Golden Ladle and the bragging rights that go along with it, and with dishes ranging from vegetarian chili to one planned with meat lovers in mind, there will be something for all to enjoy.

Both VIP and general admission tickets are being sold for the event, and the public can choose which one is best suited to them. Both options include chili samples and rolls, and the VIP ticket also includes perks such as early admission and a t-shirt that’s been printed with a graphic design prepared just for the occasion.

While the guests at the competition will be welcome to enjoy samples of all the chili, the organizer know that not everyone is the community is fortunate enough to have this sort of food security. They want to make a difference and have asked everyone who attends the function to bring along a donation of non-perishables. These will be donated to the Hunger Task Force.

This opportunity for local chefs to put their secret chili recipe to the test has been planned for January 26th. It will be welcoming ticket holders at 1721 West Canal Street in Milwaukee.
