Almost Home Cat Rescue is a dedicated group of staff and volunteers who work to make sure all Wauwatosa cats have a home to call their own, and to help fund their efforts, a special event is in the works.
This not-for-profit group holds a variety of activities throughout the calendar year, and it has partnered with Sendik’s in Wauwatosa to bring a grilled bratwurst sale to the community. Everyone who would like to get involved can stop by and purchase a lunch or early supper, and beverages will be available as well.
While they enjoy their meal, the public can browse through the variety of Promotional Products that will be available for them to buy, and these include cloth tote Bags, key chains, Mugs, and water bottles printed with a graphic design prepared for the occasion. The proceeds from these will be used to provide food and shelter for the cats in Almost Home’s care and also to help spread community awareness about the cause.
The group stresses it would not be able to do its work without the support of local volunteers who help out with events like its Brat Sale. More information about the various positions available can be found on its website.
The date for this food-filled fundraiser will be Saturday, August 13, and it will be serving up brats from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. The function will take place at 8616 West North Avenue in Wauwatosa.
