Many gardeners believe there is nothing like going native, and a Wauwatosa horticulture sale will help area green-thumbs to create a yard they can be proud of.
A Native Plant Sale is on the agenda for June at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, and it will be open for one day only. Advance registration is not required for those who wish to shop in person, and curbside pickup is also available for added convenience.
The shoppers at the event will be able to choose their selection from the plants supplied by Prairie Future Seed Company. These will be well adapted to the local area, offer disease resistance and can attract a range of pollinators and other wildlife. The items on offer will be ready for planting, and admission is free. The sale will be open for four hours, but those who arrive early are likely to get the best selection.
Plant markets are a common sight in the spring in many communities. Signage, name tags for staff and volunteers, order Forms, plant care tip sheets, and Packaging supplies are just some of what a printing services company can supply for an event.
The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center has made arrangements to hold its Native Plant Sale on June 10. Pre orders can be submitted starting on June 2, and they will be ready for pickup on the day of the event.
