Wauwatosa area to enjoy afternoon of fall fun

The Wauwatosa area is about to be treated to a day filled with fun for the whole family, and the agenda for the experience is packed with activities.

The planners of the annual Fall Family Fest, which is scheduled for Greenfield, will be taking place at Konkel Park. It is being hosted in conjunction with the community’s Trick or Trot Run/Walk, and the foodies in the crowd will have an opportunity to put their appetite to the test.

The fun will kick off in the morning with inflatables, pumpkin bowling, a petting zoo, face painting, and a play area constructed from haystacks. Games will be on offer, and food and drinks can be purchased. Balloon and temporary tattoo artists will be on hand, and both youngsters and adults can enter the costume contest. Bingo and a pie eating contest will round out the celebration. The attendees have been asked to leave their furry friends at home, although registered service animals are welcome.

When planning a community event, it can be a moneysaving move to choose reusable decor. A banner printing company will be able to help by supplying pop-up, roller, and other styles that can be used more than once.

This day of family fun will be popping up in the Wauwatosa area tomorrow, October 1. The venue can be found at 5151 East Layton Avenue.
