Empty storefronts can be an untapped resource, and an event that will offer insight into how to make the most from the opportunities they present is welcoming registrations from the Wauwatosa area.
A daylong symposium that focuses on how to fill empty storefronts will be bringing together a variety of stakeholders, and they can share best practices and learn from both the presenters and one another as well. It is anticipated that between 175 and 200 delegates will participate, and the speakers will be coming in from all across the country.
The agenda for the conference includes both lectures and breakout sessions, and during the complimentary lunch and break periods, there will be plenty of time for networking. An occasion like this can present an opportunity for vendors and organizations involved in community development and other fields, and they can distribute Brochures, Corporate Gifts and other swag to the delegates.
The organizers of the occasion are currently accepting applications from anyone interested in helping to sponsor the event. More details about this are available, and Jim Villa, who can be reached at 414-622-0006, is the person to contact to find out more.
Milwaukee’s Plankinton Building will be opening the doors for the “Empty Storefronts Conference” on November 4. The schedule for the day runs from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.
