Some dogs that need a second chance will benefit from a Wauwatosa area fundraiser that will offer them a helping paw.
Wisconsin Adopt a Golden Retriever (WAAGR) is set to serve up fun on a bun with its annual Brat Fry, and there will be other food on the menu as well. There will be pooches on hand to cuddle, and all proceeds from sales will be used to fund the organization's work.
People who stop by can relax over a bratwurst, along with chips, burgers, cold soda, and water. They can meet dogs that need a loving home, and there will be WAAGR volunteers on hand to answer questions and provide details about the organization’s efforts and how they can get involved.
The organizers of the activity are seeking helping hands for the day, and there are several shifts available. Not-for-profit groups like this one may find that working with professional Print shops is a budget-friendly option, leaving a generous portion of monies left for the cause.
