A Wauwatosa area festival will offer people who are already choosing plant-based foods and other products, as well as those who are just curious about the lifestyle and want to learn more, a chance to explore veganism for themselves.
Glendale’s Nicolet High School will be the venue for the second annual Midwest Vegan Fest, and the occasion will be all about building a community of people who live and support a plant-based lifestyle. It will offer activities for all ages, and several ticket options are available to choose from.
The plans for the occasion include demonstrations from vegan chefs, and the attendees will be invited to sample many of the dishes that will be prepared. There will be live performances and also entertainment supplied by a DJ, as well as special activities just for the kids. Vendors will have displays set up to browse through, and this will all be topped off with raffle draws and other free giveaways.
Along with all of the other fun, the attendees will be treated to the excitement of a vegan chili cook off and also a ‘mac and cheeze’ competition, with ‘cheeze’ being a dairy-free cheese alternative. Area Print shops can offer a variety of marketing options for an event like this, and can work with the organizers to ensure that the materials they provide will be completely plant-based.
The second Annual Midwest Vegan Fest will be setting up shop in Glendale on April 20. The gates are set to open at 11:00 am. Get a Free Quote for Print
