Whether they have followed the diet for a long time or are just starting out, members of Wauwatosa’s vegan community may wish to make sure they do not miss out on an event that has been planned with them in mind.
For the past three years, the UWM Nutritional Sciences Club has partnered with MKE Vegan Expo to offer a free day that will be dedicated to going vegan. The function will be an informative experience that will showcase how people’s choices can impact the environment and the other creatures that share it.
An assortment of expert speakers will be addressing the group, and there will be displays of cruelty-free products and also cooking demos that will show how it can be easy to shift to a plant-based diet. Several not-for-profit organizations will be participating, as will a selection of eco-friendly companies, and there will also be lots of food to sample so that those who attend the function will have a chance to taste vegan dishes.
With information likely at this sort of event, a brochure printing company can be consulted beforehand, and can craft a variety of publications that can be given to each person who attends so that they can keep on learning even after it is over.
The MKE Vegan Expo will be returning on March 30, setting up shop in the UWM Student Union.
