Wauwatosa area event to explore secret lives of snakes

A celebration of the slithery and scaly set will be held this spring near Wauwatosa, helping the public develop a greater appreciation of snakes and the role they play in the environment.

Schlitz Audubon’s snake ambassadors will be taking pride of place during an event that will introduce these reptiles and their life cycles to area families. Information about both native and exotic species will be shared, and all ages are welcome to participate.

Families attending the Spectacular Snakes program will each be able to touch and hold the snake ambassadors, and they will be able to have their photos taken while they do so. The kids can make themed crafts to take home with them, and while they work on their projects, they will learn why snakes are so important. Both members and non-members can take part, and the fee starts at $10 per person.

Organizing a themed activity can be made a lot easier with assistance from a printing services company. It will be able to offer everything from activity sheets for the kids to full-color Brochures and Corporate Gifts for the adults.

The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center in Milwaukee will be introducing the public to the secret lives of snakes on May 29. The activity will begin at 10:00 am.
