Individuals and enterprises in the area will be encouraged to donate funds. The effort in 2015 is actually the second half of a campaign that commenced last year.
According to Tom Cardella, about $1.5m was collected during the course of 2015. If the money raised in the district is to exceed this sum, then new tactics could be needed. These may include the use of Print companies in Wauwatosa.
Cardella has said:
“As I live on the Westside, I know firsthand how we all benefit from having a world-class performing arts scene. We are fortunate to have the best in music, dance and theater just 30 minutes away.”
Cardella, a retired executive of MillerCoors, is sharing ownership of the campaign this year. He will have to work closely with Patty Cadorin to succeed. Cadorin serves as a chief of staff at the BMO Harris Bank, as well as being co-chair of the current UPAF campaign.
The initiative is focusing on the suburbs of the west of the area for two reasons. Firstly, the UPAF has noted the location of affiliate groups in the region. Secondly, the UPAF is aware that art education has been delivered within Waukesha County and it has observed that this could have stimulated goodwill. Get a Free Quote for Print
