Meijer, a retail chain, has recently announced that it intends to open centers in Wauwatosa and Oak Creek in early August.
The decision is part of a wider program of expansion, where there are likely to be plans to use a Print company in Wauwatosa to produce promotional material for new superstores in the area. Hank Meijer, the chief executive of Meijer, has admitted that some of the details of the expansion policy have been left a little uncertain. Meijer explained the situation to the Milwaukee Business Journal a few weeks ago:
"Long term, I would expect substantially more stores, but I don’t know what that sequence looks like when you get past the next couple of years. Then you’re into planning processes and things, and you hate to put firm time schedules on it."
However, the location of the Wauwatosa store has been specified. The retail outlet will be opened at 11111 West Burleigh Street. Further, the Oak Creek location has been confirmed as 171 West Town Square Way.
It has been reported that the opening of the stores will be celebrated with the assistance of local dignitaries. Important figures from within the Meijer organization will also be in attendance. Special promotions will then be put in place to generate consumer enthusiasm.
Before the latest move, there had only been two Meijer stores in the entirety of the state of Wisconsin. These stores were recently opened in Kenosha and Grafton. Get a Free Quote for Print
