Wisconsin is celebrating Young Professionals Week from April 11 to 18. Several communities in the state have plans to holds a variety of events during that week and Green Bay is no different.
Young Professionals Week is aimed at those between the ages of 21 and 40, and is designed to address the issues that matter to them, as well as provide them with social and networking events.
On April 13 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, a Cajun cooking demonstration will be presented by Chef Ace Diamond at the Green Bay Botanical Garden. Tickets are $25 each; call 920-490-9457 to learn more about this event.
The WPS Volunteer Awards breakfast is planned for April 16 from 7:30 am - 9:30 am. It will take place at the Hyatt on Main. Tickets cost $10. To get more information, call 920-432-1234.
A fun social event will be the Food Truck Rally on April 17 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Neville Public Museum. In addition to great food, there will also be fun games taking place.
Other events include three Habitat Young Professionals Build Days hosted by Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity. Each build only has enough spaces for four people. Call 920-593-5785 to learn more.
