A 23-20 win over the Detroit Lions last Sunday was their reason to cheer, because it shows the rest of the football league that the Packers have the dedication and the skill to win big at the Super Bowl. Bars all over Green Bay were swarmed with green as the fans celebrated. Sports bars tend to use banner printing services to promote local teams.
One fan, Brent Haines, said to CBSSports.com:
“We had a good regular season. Now we’re out here in the playoffs. This is where it matters and we’re going to get nice and rowdy down here for the boys you know.”
Die-hard fans are now preparing mentally for the playoff games and the Championship Games over the next two months. They believe that seeing their team make it so far will reinvigorate the other local fans’ faith in their team.
Head Coach Matt LaFleur is credited by many as the driving force behind the Packers’ recent success. This is LaFleur’s first year as a coach and his ability to coordinate the offensive line has exceeded expectations.
Whether the Packers win it all or not is yet to be seen, but the fans will be grateful for a memorable season either way. The Playoffs are scheduled for the weekend of January 11 and 12.
