Local fair provides a family friendly outing

The Brown County Fair is taking place for five days this August in De Pere.

This is an old-fashioned style county fair and is set to feature animal judging in categories such as rabbits, poultry, horses, and goats and competitions in topics such as homebrewed beer, photography, and baking. There will be a carnival midway with lots of rides and games, commercial and food vendors, clowns, and Nick's Kids Show.

Guests may enjoy a demolition derby, a horse gymkhana, tractor and truck pulls, a tractor parade, and musical entertainment. Among the artists who are confirmed to perform at this year's fair are The Cougars Band, DJ Dylan, Separate Ways, and Nash Vegas. In addition, there will be a lumberjack show featuring events such as chainsaw carving.

This event will likely attract visitors from all over the area, including revelers from nearby Green Bay. Organizers may work with local printing companies to create Posters for advertising, signage for the various buildings, and Banners to highlight various parts of the fairgrounds.

The Brown County Fair will take place at the De Pere Fairgrounds from August 19 to 23. Tickets are $9 in advance, $12 at the gate, and $5 on Sunday. Unlimited carnival rides are included with the cost of admission. To find out more about this event, call 920-336-7292.
