Green Bay residents will want to dress their best and prepare their palates for a series of local wines, as a Kentucky Derby walk is stopping in town.
The Run for the Roses Wine Walk is preparing to welcome registered guests and interested parties for a walk through Green Bay’s downtown area to try new wine options and support local businesses. The event is a premier way to celebrate and watch the Kentucky Derby, with guests enjoying small bites, flowers, and wine samples.
Attendees are asked to dress their best and wear comfortable footwear for walking and shopping. Each person will sample wine while walking the Broadway District. Bouquet building will be another focal portion of the event, teaching interested parties the art of arranging flowers to create stunning bouquets for home decor. Brochure printing is a fantastic way to share information about each aspect of the celebration with attendees to improve the guest experience.
General admission tickets provide one souvenir wine glass, 20 one-ounce wine samplings, light appetizers at participating venues, and access to horse-drawn wagons to travel throughout downtown. Non-alcoholic tickets are also available for designated drivers to attend.
The walk will be held in the Broadway District of Green Bay on Saturday, May 3rd, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. General admission tickets are $35 and can be purchased online.
