Green Bays yearly arts event just days away

The Arti Gras festival is being held in a few days in Green Bay, presented by Mosaic Arts, Inc.

The event is expected to feature more than 100 arts and crafts vendors who will be selling items like handmade baskets, ceramics, paper art, and jewelry. Many of the artisans will also be providing demonstrations in topics such as wood turning, acrylic painting, and the ceramic wheel. Bernie Tennis will be on hand to provide caricatures.

There will be live musical performances, dance sessions from groups such as the Tonantzin Dance Company and Nauah Mirage, poetry readings, food, and community information booths in the cultural area. In addition, the kids' area will provide hands-on activities such as mask and kite making, face painting, and an art tent with items available for purchase from $1 to $10. Guests can also tour the Mosaic Art Gallery.

This festival will likely be widely advertised in the Green Bay area. Local Print companies might provide marketing materials such as Flyers that can be distributed quickly and inexpensively.

Arti Gras is being held at Shopko Hall this weekend, March 7 to 8, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Tickets are $6 each and children are admitted for free. To learn more about this festival, visit the Mosaic Arts website or call 920-425-5220.
