Residents in Green Bay are eagerly awaiting the 2016 North Shore Bank Zoo Boo. The event combines animals, activities, and treats for an all-round Halloween experience for people of all ages.
The zoo will be spookily decorated for the season, with Flyers promising that even two live swamp monsters have made their way into the park. The grounds will also be outfitted with a children’s maze and two giant inflatables. Additionally, the Zoo Boo offers a haunted wagon ride through a freaky forest, providing thrills and scares that are only for the brave of heart.
Trick or treating will also be available for children 12 and under. A number of locations throughout the zoo will be set up with candy and other treats, so kids are encouraged to bring a sack or candy pail. A DJ will also be at the event to provide music for the festivities, and visitors to the Adventure Park can also take advantage of a ‘Glow Zip’ ride down the zip line.
The 2016 North Shore Bank Zoo Boo will be held every Friday and Saturday until October 29 at the New Zoo and Adventure Park, located at 4378 Reforestation Road. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door, with children under the age of one being free. Anyone interested in more information or preordering tickets should visit the website.
