Green Bay’s Heritage Hill Park gives the public a venue where they can capture a taste of what life was like in the past, and it will be celebrating the holiday season with a special two evening soiree.
Early December will see Fort Howard celebrate the holiday season with its “A Fort Howard Christmas” weekend. It will take place rain, shine or even snow, and it will be suitable for all ages.
The plans for both of the evenings will be filled with festive music and bonfires, and historic interpreters in costume will make the history come to life. The park will be lit by lots of lanterns, and an old world style Santa will be the guests of honor. Everyone can purchase some festive food and drinks, and with plenty of photo ops to be had, everyone may want to make sure they keep their phone or camera close at hand so they will be ready to snap lots of pictures.
A historical themed event may call for specially designed decor that fits into the period being depicted. This can be prepared and printed by the graphic design department of a local poster printing company.
A Fort Howard Christmas will celebrate the arrival of the festive fun of the winter holiday season on December 8th and 9th. Both will run from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
