Wisconsin Adoption and Permanency will offer Green Bay adoptive parents an opportunity to make Christmas trinkets for the home and garden.
The event is called Parent's Night Out: Making Christmas Gnomes. Entrants can expect to make two gnomes for the event - one small and one large. The organizers suggest that the gnomes be used to decorate the house. This is also a chance for adoptive parents to connect with each other.
Elizabeth Carlson will lead participants through the process of gnome-making. All materials will be supplied by the event organizers. A complimentary dinner will also be offered.
The organizers ask that any participants showing COVID-19 symptoms, or that have been around people with symptoms, avoid attending. The event will also comply with social distancing measures by maintaining six feet between participants. Face masks are also required to be worn for each participant.
Those interested can sign up online to receive tickets. Printing services are often utilized to produce the tickets for events like this, and registration for the day is $30 per person.
The event will take place on Wednesday, November 4 at 6:00 PM and will last until 8:30 PM. The location is Swanstone Garden, 9696 Swan Road. There is limited space for entrants, so the event organizers suggest early registration. Anyone with more questions can direct them to Heather at heather@wisapsp.org.
