Green Bay kids offered spots in cat camp

Green Bay’s younger feline fans will be able to get their fill of cat cuddles when they attend a day camp activity at a local animal companion sanctuary.

Spots in the Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary Cat Camp may still be available, and the function will use fun to help teach the campers about animal welfare and advocacy. It will also allow them to explore veterinary medicine in a child-friendly way, and it will be on offer as a drop-off occasion.

The day, which will include lunch, will offer cat-related activities and many will involve active fun. Kitty yoga, a visit from an area vet, cat-themed face painting, games, and an opportunity to take part in a group project designed to raise funds for their new furry friends have all been planned for the kids. There will be trained staff on hand throughout the day. Tickets are $40, with a possible subsidy available for families in financial need.

Summer camps give kids with specific interests an opportunity to explore and learn. Many of these activities supply the campers with T-Shirts printed with a custom Logo Design to wear both during the session and also after it has drawn to a close.

Safe Haven will be running its Cat Camp on August 27. The day will run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm at 151 North Broadway.
