The PMI Entertainment Group is once again bringing its annual WBAY Pet Expo to the greater Green Bay area. The three-day event mixes information, adoptions, entertainment, and pet products into one enormous expo.
The big draw for pet owners of every type is the vendor booths. Pet stores and pet product vendors all across the bay area will be there selling and showcasing their wares for all manner of pets, including fish, lizards, birds, dogs, cats, and more. In addition, rescue shelters and other animal care organizations will have informational Brochures and demonstrations to help owners with their pets. The event is the largest in the area, so pretty much every type of pet will be represented.
A number of different entertainment events will also take place during the expo. This year, two different competitions have been added to the schedule, one for canine dock jumping and the other for pet grooming.
A K-9 demonstration will also take place, as well as a pet adoption “speed dating” event, where different animal shelters will introduce prospective owners to some of the animals in the area looking for a home. Visitors who decide on a pet during the speed dating can begin the adoption process at the expo.
The WBAY Pet Expo will be held from March 18 to 20 at the Brown County Arena located at 1901 S. Oneida St. in Green Bay. Tickets are $7 for ages 13 and up, and $3 for youth when purchased in advance, and prices go up by $1 when bought at the door. Pets are welcome at the event if the owners are willing to sign a waiver and provide proof that the animal is up to date on its shots. Anyone interested in more info should visit the website.
